About the role
As an Admin Associate on the Credit Portfolio Management team, you will play a crucial administrative, operations and compliance support role in managing IIX’s growing portfolio of impact lending products, particularly the Women’s Livelihood Bonds. Your prior experience as a p will be highly valuable as you manage legal documentation, track compliance conditions, and coordinate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Loan Documentation & Record Management
- Maintain and update loan documents, pricing, and transaction records; coordinate with legal counsel, borrowers, and trustees for documentation and storage.
Compliance & Covenant Monitoring
- Track borrower compliance with financial and affirmative covenants; monitor Conditions Precedent and Conditions Subsequent across all loan portfolios.
- Track compliance with Conditions Precedent (CP) and Conditions Subsequent (CS) for all WLB borrowers.
- Maintain dashboards for all compliance elements and flag deviations or delays for timely resolution.
Reporting & Schedule Preparation
- Prepare loan and security schedules for key stakeholders (e.g., DFC, SIDA);
- Issue quarterly loan confirmations to borrower auditors and
- Participate in borrower quarterly calls to ensure timely follow-ups on key issues.
Statutory & Tax Compliance Support
- Coordinate withholding tax filings, manage related documentation, and support SPV-related statutory compliance tasks.
Financial Operations Support
- Reconcile and update trackers for quarterly MFX payments for WLB 3–6.
- Manage transaction approval and disbursement to borrowers
Reporting to External Stakeholders
- Support the preparation, formatting, and timely submission of required reports to external stakeholders, including development finance institutions (e.g., DFC, SIDA) and trustees.
- Track reporting deadlines and coordinate across teams to ensure complete and accurate submissions
Cross-Team & Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with internal teams (Legal, Compliance, Finance) and external service providers (borrowers, legal counsel, CSC, trustees) to support end-to-end credit operations.
- Ensure seamless communication and timely execution of documentation and compliance workflows.
Suggested KPI
- Effectively maintain and organize all loan and legal documentation with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Consistently track borrower compliance with covenants and conditions, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of issues.
- Prepare and deliver required loan schedules, confirmations, and compliance reports in a timely and error-free manner.
- Proactively identify and support the resolution of compliance breaches and documentation discrepancies.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication with internal teams and external partners to support smooth credit operations.
Preferred Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 3–8years of professional experience, preferably in a legal administration or loan documentation role.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of loan document management and contractual processes.
- Experience working with loan agreements, NDAs, security documentation, or corporate compliance is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document tracking tools.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.
